GENESIS

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya DIAT, Girinagar Pune was established in 1988. The school provides excellent education at primary, secondary, and secondary level students. This campus is situated near Khadakwasla Dam. It is adjacent to beautiful DIAT and MILIT Campus.

As we celebrate the glorious Diamond Jubilee of our prestigious organization, it fills us with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride to reflect upon the remarkable journey we have undertaken together. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. It aligns with the needs of the times, society, and national culture. KV DIAT Girinagar, Pune became full-fledged in 1987, situated in the Sylvain surrounding facing the gurgling cool waters of the Khadakwasla Dam with the fortress of Sinhagad, depicting strength and fortitude, gives the Vidyalaya a magnificent look. Since its inception, it has developed in leaps and bounds, taking care of the all round personality development of every child traversing through the wide arena of the Vidyalaya. It gives me immense pleasure to quote that the students of class XII students brought laurels to our school by giving the good result. The proof of the best results given by our class XII students is their placement in various professional colleges. Our students have been bagging lucrative prizes in forms of Gold Medal and Cash awards in various fields of activities. We always expect to take longer strides to achieve the lofty heights of glory and success. Of course sky is our limit. Swami Vivekananda Says "Real Education is that which enables one to stand on his own legs." Our mission is to ignite the children's tender minds for a prosperous future. We get lot of support from our VMC for the all around development of this Vidyalaya hence we can dream of escalating lofty height without any hurdles. This school has sufficient infrastructure and provides a very healthy learning ambience. The building itself can be used as a wonderful teaching aid for both the students and the teachers.
